SO,

a few days ago I noticed a dark spot on the floor carpet driver's side bottom of the seat near the floor mat. Looked like some kind of a stain. I pulled the floor mat out and the left half of the floor area of that carpet is wet to the touch. It hasn't rained here since last week and I have not washed it. WTF? I am assuming it is water because it has no smell.

Water can hide under the carpet for awhile before it’s noticeable so it probably leaked in last week.

We had that hurricane Ida remnants kick our ass last week with rain I guess it may be from that. Hopefully it's not an actual leak just a fluke. I'm gonna dry it out this weekend and keep an eye on it. I just never noticed this before and she has seen plenty of weather. I am sure the floor mat is keeping it from drying out.

Man I got boxes of stuff delivered weeks ago and can’t get the down time to install everything
I feel your pain! Same problem here.
In San Francisco it didn’t matter what stickers you had on, they threw a rock through the window of every parked car and tossed everything inside, taking whatever they fancied.

I lived in Oakland for a few years. People would just tape signs to their windows saying the doors were unlocked, and leave the glovebox open. Wild place.

Thank god for off-street parking, but my car was broken into once. They stole my battery jump-pack, Gerber multi-tool, and all the spare change.

Might have been nice to see them get "cut just below the chin" and find their rotting carcass laying next to the vehicle-all bled out! Oh, the Karma would have been sweet tasting!! :insane:

In some of the 39 countries I’ve had the pleasure of passing through, we didn’t have to worry about locking doors or even leaving windows rolled down with expensive electronics sitting on the seat. Nobody dared to steal from us. Not because we had diplomat plates or because we were Americans, but because they didn’t dare to steal from anyone. You get your hands cut off for doing that $h!t in some places. Don’t get caught twice or someone other than your feet will be writing your letters and feeding you soup for the rest of your life.

Usually the spot light, bars in the windows, and antenna on the roof scare those scum away... That's if they're even smart enough to know what Magpul is. Lol

And even though those kind of people are everywhere, I typically don't go into the areas where it's a very high probability to happen.
If they don’t know what magpul is, they will soon find out.
I have added so much alarm stuff to mine it's more secure than my home, it won't stop a smash and dash but I don't keep anything in it that you could take before I could get to it so......good luck, windows are tinted 5% in the back so you can't see anything inside anyway.
It’s stupid things have come to that. Like you, the way I see it is if theres anything those scumbags “think” they want more than I do, they had better hope they can beat my .308 to the end of the driveway. If not, the .338 will catch you before you make it down the road faster than my dog will.

First drive all smooth. Not counting any chickens yet… but hopeful.
Wouldn’t be the fuel pump giving up the ghost would it? Have you checked the wires down at the pedal? I had that issue and I believe the purple/white wire down there was all kinked.

Rare - I’ve also seen cabin air filters so clogged that it soaked not only the passenger side, but also over to the drivers.
As @Doubeleive mentioned, I would check the trim out first.

Long ago I knew people that had big stereo systems in their cars and had big decals of "Alpine" or "Rockford Fosgate" on their back window. They'd come rolling into a parking lot with it booming, then come out to a busted window and their system ripped out and taken.

I told them all they're doing is advertising for someone to break in
My college roommate drove an old Skylark convertible. He didn't bother locking the doors because it was cheaper to replace a stereo than a sliced convertible top. His head unit was in one of those removable housings that he'd lock in the glovebox whenever he left the car. Nevertheless, someone smashed his custom speaker enclosure and took the speakers and amp one night. I hate thieves.
