I’m still deciding if it’s physical or electrical on the trans. I could care less about the stereo. Just found it an odd coincidence… gonna data log tomorrow on a known stretch I can reproduce it on, send it to BBP and see what they say.

While I have not had the issues you describe with the Yukon, this would happen to our 2006 Pontiac Montana with the Can Bus system. It would always happen to my wife because she would put the key in and immediately start the car. Often times, the cruise control would not work and the radio would act funny. This did not happen to me because I'm a diesel guy, still waiting for the glow plugs to heat up after I put the key in! This gave the modules time to boot up and do a handshake.

So slow down on start up if you do not and you probably need a new battery. If you have a Tech-2 or equivalent, you can monitor the health of the battery with it.

I miss my Burb! been driving a 21 Nissan Sentra all week. This thing is a slug! I so miss my truck!
I had a Nissan Versa when my truck was in the shop for a few days. I wore a hat, kept my mask on and didn't make eye contact with anyone while driving it. One of my buddies said he thought he saw me at the grocery store, I said "nah man, that couldn't have been me."

Jenn and I took it to New Orleans to see Shinedown.

I also found out yesterday that the left front speaker isn't blown. It sounded fine, even when cranked higher than I normally play it. There may be something loose in the door that was temporarily buzzing from the bass last weekend. Maybe a piece of the vapor barrier?

I'd check it out but I have a list of items to do when I pop off the panels: Replace the speakers; run new wire for them to the amp; remove, clean and re-lube the window tracks and regulators; install sound deadener; install felt tape at any rattling points and possibly remove and reinforce the outer door handles at their common fail point. I'll also inspect the inner door handle/armrest and reinforce it if/as needed. I wanna snap the panel back on, once and done, with all new clips.
