Realized today that i apparently have the Bose system. Idk how it took over 2 years to realize...now I am looking into replacement speakers and amps...is there a website outside of Crutchfield that builds replacement kits? The offerings from there are pretty limited. Guess I'll be spending some time in the audio section
Just get the sizes, etc. and you can look on Ebay, etc. I bought an Alpine X308, and the surround to fit. I went directly to both Alpine and Panasonic sites to find out what would fit

That looks way better than I was picturing. The painted bezels and everything else black makes them look more machine-like instead of fish-eyed.

What steering wheel control adapter or interface are you using? Mine can be programmed to assign the various features to certain buttons, but the default settings for my Pioneer were perfect as-is.

Thanks! I love them. This is what I’m using. Mine is the same way, and you move those little switches on the side in the red area depending on what stereo you have. I was messing with the control settings on the Pioneer itself, and I probably just wasn’t doing something correct there. But then that setting was randomly greyed out! I gotta pull it apart again I think.

Dove into checking the AC system out today. I first bought a can of of this Avalanche Refrigerant. When I hooked up to the port the system was showing low at 15-20 PSI. Which was good news that it wasn't totally evacuated or contaminated. Here is a pic of the can and the gauge that domes with it. it's 18 0z.

Once about half that can was in and it hit about 35-40 PSI the compressor started to cycle on and off. I put the full can in and ran it for a bit and it continued to cycle, air out of the vents got semi cold.

I noticed the high line was a bit dirty and oily covered. There may be a seep from the high pressure port/valve or o-ring at that orofice connection. I got some wrenches and snugged up that connection.

According to the chart on the can and the weather stats I should be aiming for a steady 35-45 psi reading.

I ran out for another can of refrigerant. Closest place was Home Depot and they had this AC Pro can 20 oz.

Took a while for the can to get sucked in fully. Had the AC on full blast recirc front and rear. Ran it for about a half hour until the can was empty. Final result was steady around 27 psi, under 50* discharge at the vent. Will need one more can. Figure 38 oz put in or less, believe the system holds close to 48 from what I can find? Label on under the hood is toast. I am broke so I will have to wait until next week at 40 bucks a pop for this stuff. Still trying to pay my rear axle off. Run it like this for a week and keep an eye on the pressure readings to see if it drops. Let the system balance out. Will report back next week on the final results.

Ah. The Crux is the one interface that I have no experience with.
