Very nice !

I finally got my Equalizer weight distribution hitch installed on my Yukon and the 20 foot enclosed cargo trailer last week.
Took it for a test run to see how it handles ( 10 mi round trip ) Trailer was empty, but still 3100 lbs. I was curious to see how the braking - steering and handling was.
And to see how the Tekonsha P3 brake controller worked. Everything performed 100% and I was surprised at the ease of handling even at 63MPH top speed for the test drive.

Changed front hub assembly..went smoothly until a bolt decided it was happy staying put, it was awkward to get at with my Impact as well.

Managed to get an extension on my Impact which after a few attempts managed to get it moving. Hub came off after a few gentle taps with my fine adjusting tool
Replacement was a mevotech upgraded unit with new bolts and hub nut.

Free shipping within Canada was a bonus. I used Thewrenchmonkey.ca ( for anyone else up north).

It was making grinding noise when i turned it by hand. Other side isn't making noise yet so I'm not changing it. Took a bit longer than expected due to the bolt and searching for.my torque wrench.

We changed both hubs at buddys shop. I figured once up in the air do both.
