From what I understand, Caster doesn't really matter much. When lowered, your camber will always be off to a certain extent as there's only so much they can do because they run out of adjustment when you go lowered. Most of the time it's not even visible to the eye but you'll notice that the inside of your tire wear sooner than the outer half of your tire. It's just part of the being lowered game that you put up with especially on the gmt800 and 900 platforms
Ok so would you call that good then? I just don't want to get ripped off here. This is my first legit alignment I ever paid for lol.

I was under the understanding the drop spindles would have kept it within the adjustment range?

I would say that's about as good as you'll get.

I ran spindles on my 07 for several years and my camber was at about the same spot the entire time. There is a alignment kit that belltech sells that you can use that is supposed to fix the issue. I never ran it but I've heard positive reviews on it

Looks like they dialed in your toe, but didnt really try to tweak camber/caster. I have a feeling lots of shops do that. While you may not be able to get into factory specs, I find it hard to believe there would be no change whatsoever for camber/caster if they actually tried adjusting it.

New wheels and tires, 2 inch spacers all around and 2 inch leveling kit being over nighted to fix the rubbing on the fender.

yep. the old tow and go

go take a look at the camber bolts and see if they even put a wrench on them. I be they didn't.

I had my c6 done they were like oh we forgot to record the before and the back we got close but couldn't get perfect. took it home to double check bolt tq because they never tq to spec and corvette are prone to move. all the front alignment bolts were hand tight when they tq at over 150ft lbs and the back they never put a wrench on the bolts. I ended up ordering turn plates and toe plates. just redoing the whole thing myself.

cant trust any shop you don't have a friend working at. it's sad. every single one will scam you and then expect a pat on the back for doing you a favor.

Replaced the LF wheel with one from Schram auto parts and its holding air just fine. No more pumping the tire up every day......

22" wheels are hard to find.
One of mine has a really slow leak. I can’t find it. I’m sure it the wheel. It loses it about 10 psi after a few weeks. I’m going to replace my wheels at some point.

Yeah I been screwing with it for almost a year now trying to dial it in myself. All of the components have been replaced and I told them that so they would not have to fight any rusted or frozen fasteners. Made it as easy as I could for them and they still skipped it. So all those camber/caster measurements are from what I did. Which kind of ****** me off. But I am sick of dealing with these places and wasting my time.

Having these base readings I could try to dial it in better myself with my camber guage. But I know if I try to go back and dial it in anymore then it's going to throw the toe right back out of whack again. So I probably just gonna leave it like it is and fk it. :mad: :(

I have spindles and struts set for 1.75" drop on the left side and 2" on the right, totaling a 3.5"/3.75" drop (McG spindles are actually 1.75" drop). I aligned mine at home and, 30K+ miles later, my tires have always worn flat and evenly with no feathering or cupping. No pulls and the steering wheel is "centered enough". I could perfect it if I really cared. The only thing that's out is the caster is too positive, which I erred positive due to it being safer than neutral or negative. I'll tweak it when I change my struts.

As for alignment mods, I have the Belltech cams. But, I'm not so sure I'm even beyond the factory adjustment area yet. With @89Suburban's rig being dropped with spindles only, they should easily be able to get everything in the green. They didn't try.

+1 for a Toe-and-Go. Pawpaw, I don't think they even tried. They're probably using your drop spindles as a cop out. Did they say something like "we got it as close as we could but with your aftermarket parts, blah blah blah..."? Unless there's something wrong with your frame or other parts, they should be able to at least get everything in the green.

They didn't say anything negative at all. Just your truck is done and here is your keys. All went well.

I had to race back to the office so I didn't get a real good look at the print out until then. I have a lot of drama going on in my life right now so I am not looking for more going back and fighting with these people. My time is too valuable and I'm tired.

even with toe plates with a camber gauge and turn plates, I found the old string method for checking the tow to the quickest easiest and most repeatable.

just some string between jack stands from and back, move to the just touch the tires halfway up. gives a nice visual before and after

I agree you shouldn't need to do that after paying money. techs just don't like doing the work for the small labor $ mostly it's meant to get your car on the rack so they can up sell you parts. we aren't the target audience
