interesting, I quickly Googled and looked like something about 17in brakes over some weight, I'll look and see what's different about the diagram with jd9

Without truly knowing for sure, my guess is that it has to do with my Yukon having the HD trailer package: KC4, K5L, GU6, G80, etc.. (basically all the external coolers, LSD, 3.42 gears). I don't really know.

I thought we all had JD9?

JD9 BRAKE VAC POWER, 17 DISC/DISC, W/VSES, 7700 LBS

man I see so many posts of automatic trannys going bad left and right. I thought the 4l60 had a bad rep when used hard, all these newer 6 and 10 speeds seem to lunch themselves at $8-10k a pop every 150k miles less. at least the poor. 4l60 lasted forever if just daily driven.

what happened to drivetrain reliability the last few generations across all these automakers.
this generation of trucks are getting older, your going to see more problems pop up especially from people that do not maintain things or are just learning that 160k is the point at which you either fix it or sell it.

maybe what I feel is old is just off by alot. 100k still feels like a new car to me.
