beautiful weather to change a fuel filter

Friday truck would not start at work, came back Saturday morning to get it going. It would start but instantly die. Added fuel and some Heet. Still wouldn't run. Layed in parking lot and swapped out fuel filter. Still wouldn't run. Grabbed a truck and trailer (thank god for electric winches) and hauled to a buddies for repair. Unloaded and decided to see if it would start...sure enough. It ran just fine. Left it there to investigate. Swung by there after work this am and sure enough it started and ran fine again....although she turned over a little slow sitting out in these artic temps. I am guessing fuel pump is weak and about to fail. Any other guesses?

Now of the many benefits of detailing cars for a living is washing my own truck while on the clock lol. But here in tx salt isnt really a problem so I've never encountered that problem. Lol

The salt up here is nasty they switched over to this salt they spray down if you don't wash it off weekly its gonna eat your truck up, really should get a powerwasher cause spending $20 every week durring the winter would get ya a decent one for a lil more
