Taking mine back in to have an oil leak looked at. It's had an occasional drip, but it's now a puddle. I'm hoping it's related to the transmission/transfer/differential service I had done a week ago and can easily fixed.

maybe but what does your battery voltage read with a dmm directly on the battery when the gauge reads low?

@ idle and normal driving gauge reads normal @ 14 volts... With the dmm battery reads 13.6 battery is about a year old ( energizer brand)... It only drops down 2 9 volts @ WOT...

Just got back from the shop. I've got a few leaks to take care of. IIRC, there are leaks around the oil filter adapter, oil sending unit and maybe the oil cooler line. I'm pretty sure the first two are correct but not the third. There were leaks on the back, front and side of the motor. It's also leaking around the oil filler neck. He said everything but the oil filler would take 1.5 - 2 hours to fix.

Lastly the right front axle seal is leaking. He said that was the most expensive but least important overall.

Damaged brush/slip rings or faulty regulator in the alt. the entire drive train electronics package could not draw so much current to overload the electric system that much even with headlights on. at wot you are capable of at least about 100 dc amps of available power.

I listed my Limited for sale today on my local Craigslist. I know the price is up there, and won't be shocked if I don't get any bites, but that's what it'll take for me to sell it. I tried listing it on this forum in the Classifieds section, but it won't let me. It says I don't have sufficient privileges, or something to that effect. Anyone know why? Am I too new of a member?

Um, wow. Good luck with the sale. Knowing about what you paid for it, you're looking for quite a bit more.

Ahem, cough cough. Should be Delco 335-1092 or nbs 5.3l 140 amp equivalent and a Goodyear gatorback 4060967 belt for the proper tension. Don't forget to remove the oem reinforcement bracket before putting new alt on. will have to move the aluminum mount forward a few inches.
