Hell yeah! Yup, that was me--thx for remembering @dkknaebel.
Love the blue. Which mufflers did you go with? How's it sound? So here it is Thursday and nobody has posted since me, so I will post again. Today I had my ancient alarm system removed and also fixed my broken exhaust with new mufflers and tips. View attachment 369163
Here are the mufflers I went with. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/aph-vx2541 As far as sound goes... I haven't really had a chance to get it out too much yet, but the first thought was they are pretty quiet until you start to apply the gas pedal and then it has a nice deep tone to it. And I got two mufflers for more of a true dual setup. I opted for these mufflers after talking to the guy and explaining what I wanted. I went in and was thinking Flowmaster 40's but that probably would've been louder than what I was looking for. I am going to try to go out tomorrow for a little drive and see how it does at highway speeds. With the broken muffler I could barely hear the radio going down the road. And here in Florida I have to be hands free to talk and it was nearly impossible. I am going to be putting in a new stereo at some point, so hopefully I will be able to hear everything again. Here is a sound clip on a Sierra. Sounds about right.Love the blue. Which mufflers did you go with? How's it sound?
Once the packing in the mufflers get burned in, they'll get a little louder.
