16816029009181470996045843180292.jpgHi Guys
I've just taken the roof rack off in preparation for the roof repaint.16816030277201117981959471781747.jpgHave decided to delete the rack.
Good idea or bad? I am on the fence!
Changes the look without and if i dont do it now and decide to later its more cost.16816032849935132031256650933171.jpgMike the panel beater reckons he'll just wind the bolts down, cut em off and give them a wee buzz with the welder before flushing them off.
Exciting and worrying at the same time.20210120_152741.jpg

I think it looks good without the rack. But why don’t you add a pic to your post with it on as well, for a good side x side comparison..?

If you don't need it for transporting anything, I'd delete it. Don't you transport your kayaks?

Thanks for updating with on & off pics. Honestly, I like it both ways. If you ever think you’ll find it useful, I’d keep it.

I would NOT do that. If anything, find shorter bolts that can be taken all the way down and sealed with rubber washers just in case you want to put the rack back on later.

Thanks
I gave it a lot of thought yesterday.
I have decided to refurbish the rack in a matt black and put it back in place.
It has been used frequently.
I think the matt black will go well with a fresh gloss black roof!

You are correct!
I was looking at other photos i had taken with the roofrack in place and to be honest it adds to the vehicle so lets go with Sports Utility and Lol I'll forget about HotRod!
No need to forget about hot Rod! You can have both. :win:
