If you don't need the money keep it. I had a 93 Volvo 850 that I just recently sold because I bought another vehicle for my wife. But say you wreck a car, your insurance company will give you a rental car. A coverage you pay for. If you keep this Tahoe you could drop that coverage. Also I don't know the age of your kids but maybe keep it and fix it up for them with them so they'll have something to drive when they get 16. I bought a 98 Camaro SS and a 00 Silverado for my kids to restore and customize with them as they grow up. That way when they turn 16 they'll have a nice car they've worked on their whole life and will hopefully respect and take better care of than most 16 year old girls. My daughters will be 7 in September and 5 in January. Just a suggestion if you have kids, it allows you to spend quality time with your kids and pass down to them the automotive bug that us gear heads have.
