Nope didn't stop my leak. After cleaning the engine my leak is coming from above the starter and not sure from where on the driver side. I changed the VC gasket a few months back and that didn't do it. Mine looked like yours just dirty not wet. From what I've been told it could also be the crank position sensor. I guess that'll be the next investigation. Good luck everyone

The crank position sensor is measuring the flywheel where there is no oil to be leaked (bellhousing).

Did you clean the residual oil from the engine/undercarriage after doing the fixes to the oil pressure sending unit and valve covers? Residual oil may still be trapped in the subframe. You need to clean out what has already been done.

There is nothing else back there that would leak oil besides a rear-main oil -seal leak .

I cleaned the oil up as best I could. It doesn't leak or drip just sitting in the driveway, but a drop of oil will form on the inside starter bolt after a couple minutes of idling with me under there, so I don't think it's residual

I think Travis and I have the same leak.
I think my next step is to remove the starter and see if, in fact, the CPS is leaking due to a worm o-ring, even though SCHLOE says t can't. Only cheap/free thing I haven't tried. I mean, if it's not that, what could it be other than somehow the oil pan or rear seal? I guess it's possibly the CAMSHAFT position sensor ?

For some reason I was thinking of a different CKP sensor. These do in-fact pass through the block to measure a reluctor wheel on the rear of the crankshaft so it may indeed be your oil leak. Sorry about the confusion.

Just went under my truck and saw where the leak on the driver side is coming from, above the filter where the 2 lines come in either that or the side gold looking circle. Either way it's the same piece.

So yours is the oil cooler you mean? Mine doesn't have and doesn't appear to leak from the block off but I'll double check

th_IMG_6147_zpsntmvey0r.jpgth_IMG_6145_zps1dhihtod.jpg this is where my leak is coming from, i had to get to my computer to upload pics. It's either from this point or my oil pan gasket dripping down to this.
