welcome! congrats on the purchase. just out of curiosity, if it's a fully loaded LTZ, what all did you order from GMPD that you don't have on it?

Fair question. Justy a few little tid bits.

Part #17801740 - Rear Console Kit Second Row Buckets
Part #19212766 - RSE Storage Bag
Part #19166288 - Console Organizer
Part #19157338 - Molded Front Floor Mats
Part #17800412 - Rear Molded Floors Mats
Part #17802612 - RSE Noise Cancelling Headphones X 2
Part # 17802384 - Tail Lamp Package

My question would be if you bought it brand new (hence it being a 2011) why not just order how you want it the first time?

Good question.... the same my wife asked just yesterday B4 I placed the order.

I'll tell you the same thing I told her.... "Mind your own business!"

Just kidding.......]

The vehicle was purchased out-of-state [brand new]. Why? I wanted the OEM 22" wheels [factory, NOT dealership, installed] on a White Diamond Tricoat color. I searched from Maine to Florida and there was two on the far East Coast [per GM's inventory]. The dealership I purchased it from had both of them... identical in every way. Go figure....

I had to have the vehicle in-hand/paid by the year's end [2010] for tax purposes. I took delivery of the Hoe on the afternoon of December 30th 2010.... just shy of a week following negotiations started with the dealership.... so it was a pretty quick purchase. I decided on the day of delivery that I wanted a few little tid bits [see above] upon seeing the vehicle. It was the first time I'd actually seen or driven the vehicle in person [photos only prior to purchase]. The dealership had none of the items in stock in the parts' division.

That is why I placed an order just yesterday evening.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I'm really happy with it thus far.... albeit in the very early stages.

Had a lengthy run home and another lengthy run this past weekend. Drives like a dream and certainly a head turner.... had more than a couple of compliments thus far.

I was always a full-size pickup truck fan prior to this purchase but got sick of internal space offerings on pickups.

Below is some pics of my previous ride...

tahoe sounds nice! please post pics of the 2nd row console. i am trying to get that set up in mine, but i neither the buckets, nor the console. one day...gotta lotta work to do!

quick question: what is the difference between "factory installed" vs. "dealership installed"? besides the obvious fact that one installed after the truck comes off the line. i guess why do you prefer factory installed?

ps - that's a bad a$$ ford ...you like your rides white, huh??

I'll post pics when my rear console comes in and I've installed it.

Two reasons I opted for "factory installed" as opposed to "dealership installed."

First was I had issues in 2000 with a brand new Dodge full-sized pickup I purchased. To cut it real brief: I had 20" chrome OEM wheels/tires installed by the dealership prior to picking up the vehicle. I had slight steering and obvious front-end vibration, ordinary breaking and mediocre handling issues for almost 2months until I took it to an independent shop who found that the dealership had done a poor installation with the wheels/tires. After proper balancing, correct lug nuts and correct tire directional install the problem was solved. That left a very sour taste in my mouth and I vowed I would never have OEM wheels/tires installed by the dealership again. Should have listened to my out-of-state uncle who's been a GMC, Ford and Toyota new car dealer for almost 20 years.....

Second is the price issue. My invoice showed an additional $ 2,795.00 for the CK916 22-inch 8-Spoke aluminum alloy wheels [HERE] because they were installed from the factory before being shipped to the dealership. Had I have purchased my LTZ with the factory installed 20" x 8.5" Polished Aluminum Wheels, and had the dealership install the rims I wanted, the upgrade to the 22" would have cost me $ 3982.75

Yes, I'm a fan of white on full-sized pick-ups and SUV's.

I'm guessing that's because THEY kept the original 20" chrome wheels instead of giving them back to you, correct?

Otherwise you got yourself a hellava' bargain if you got to keep the OEM's.

These are the wheels I'd like to get for my 07 burb. I like these a lot! I'm hoping to come across them on CL at some point. I may be waiting a while...
