no kbb values are estimated value but really it is going o depend on who wants it and if they got the money. not everyone has over 12k to spend on a ride

The price of fuel. Your 6.0 EXT isn't exactly a hot seller these days. Every vehicle has buyers at a price point, how bad do you want to sell it?

That sums it up pretty well.

I'm one of those folks who buys these types of vehicles when the gas prices are high and their values are in the dumps.

When gas was $4 a gallon early this year I purchased my 05 AWD Escalade from a GM dealer for $16K, fully loaded with 82K miles. Back in 08 when gas was about $3.50 a gallon I purchased a pristine loaded 03 STS with only 42K miles from a Caddy dealer for $15K.

I'm lucky enough to be able to have several vehicles so I can pick up the bargains when they come up and maintain my economy commuter vehicles as well. If it were my only vehicle though there is no way I could afford to drive the Escalade everyday with a 100 mile commute.

If gasoline were $2 again you'd have no trouble selling your EXT. In our crappy economy and high gas prices these types of vehicles are distressed merchandise.

Wake is right on. I looked for an 07 Escalade for a while, but a refinery fire in Richmond CA dropped the prices 3-5k all over California within a week. The one I ended up buying dropped from 37 down to 31 and I bought it for 28.

As long as prices are still going up should be hard to sell, but gas can't go up for ever. Keep patience if you can (and balance between this and the price of the EXT dropping if a new body style were to come out) ...IMHO

Why not? oil is a non-renewable resource, and the world uses a mind boggling amount of it every day.

True, guess I meant it will stop rising as fast as it is now... Like it did in 08-09 when it almost reached $5 a gal in California then in 09 back down to around $4 a gal.
