I think the EXT is just in more of a specific market for buyers. Clean lookin ride-do you still have the stock rims/tires for it? Maybe putting them on and selling your aftermarket wheels may yield better results too.....I got a 4 yr term at 2.9% thru my credit union for my 06' BTW.

I dont have the stock rims but the thought keeps going through my head to buy a set with used tires for $500, and get $1500 for my rims with new tires

Then price my truck $1k less...

I would rather sell it the way it is, but Time will tell.

Is "Avy" Avalanche? I'm sure this isn't news, but I'll say it anyway. '09s sell in the mid 20's, money wise your way better off keeping the EXT - the 3 mpg gain will be more than offset by the freefall in the '09s depreciation, this would be a very expensive move.

listen a bank will give a loan for ANYTHING these days..its all what you're willing to pay for it

Was watching Operation Repo last week...you believe they were repoing a 1991 acura legend?!?!?!?!

the car bb's for $1k at most and it was in sad shape.....and the guy had a lien on it

I doubt a bank gave a loan for a 91 Acura. It was likely a buy here, pay here lot that gave the loan.

I dated a woman once who had such bad credit that the in-house finance lots were the only places she could buy a car. She agreed to pay them $5500 for a car that I wouldn't have paid $1500 for.

She lost her job due to illness and lost the car. The lot that sold it to her had no problems accepting it back and told her to come back again when she was back on her feet and ready for another car. Everything was in house, no credit check, no credit reporting. You just pay 3x what a car is worth in those instances. The sales place (I won't all it a dealersihp) just took the car back and put it right back out on the lot.
