You can now say good bye to auto stop

Looks like Chevy will give you a 50$ credit to not take the auto stop feature. This is effective on builds of 21 Tahoe suburbans etc from 6/7/21

Looks like It’ll cost you 50$ to delete the auto stop feature from Chevy Tahoes and Suburbans built after 6/7/21.

that's a $50 credit, actually - only the 5.3 and 6.2 are affected at this time, duramax is not affected. Expectation is for it to last through the rest of the 2021 MY. We'll see if it continues for 22.

General question about this - Isn't this really bad for a turbo (diesel) engine, or does Chevy pump coolant and oil through the turbo when the engine stops?

Bummer. I’d pay to have it removed. I believe it only saves 1mpg tops city. Not worth the downsides for me.
