Hello, long time lurker/reader. Most of the time I am able to utilize the search function and find answers with due diligence but this one has been tough to find similar issues/complaints.
2011 yukon XL 2WD (ZW7 suspension code) with 270,*** on odometer showing service suspension system warning on instrument cluster.
I have searched Google as well as on this site and can't come up with any reasonable matches.
I purchased the Yukon used and suspect that the cluster may have been swapped. Some discrepancies between mileage on cluster and car fax, as well as previous registration mileage.
This Service suspension warning has been active since I purchased the vehicle. Really good price, came with a few issues and am attempting to correct the multiple DIC warnings.
Tpms- I have confirmed 1 bad sensor and will correct when replace tires.
"Service park assist" - has minor impact to rear bumper but I have not put any troubleshooting in to this area to confirm bad sensors.
"Service trailer brake system" - Basic visual inspection performed but I have not been deeper.
I do have a check engine light on and have confirmed the code is for the crank position sensor.
These are the codes/warnings that I am working with but my focus is on the suspension system warning. What has me scratching my head is the fact I have standard coil over struts in front and what appears to be (non nivomat)(non air-no compressor) rear shocks.
What could possibly be throwing a warning on the ZW7 suspension?
