    Heated seat issue

    I had the same thing on my 03 sierra and yukon on the driver seat bottom. I had to replace the heating element that attaches under the leather cover.

    I never removed an 02, but on a 03 I had to remove front seats and lower dash panel/glove box. I would think they are similar.

    I'm pretty sure you will need the console harness for rse. I added that to a sierra p/u and had to remove console and replace harness.

    No problem, the control will fit, but the way it controls the housing is different.

    I had the same control in my sierra p/u, i looked into switching to the auto control like in the escalade/denali and the wiring and hvac housing is different. I have read where it has been done on other forums, by finding a scrap yard vehicle and removing the harness and housing.

    intermediate shaft

    The intermediate steering shaft can make that noise. Mine would do it when turning, Gm replaced it twice under warranty. Noise never came back after second replacement.

    water inside, and NO its not the normal things that have been mentioned!!

    My wifes yukon would only leak when parked, if it was a light rain, it would not leak. I checked the drains, both were draining when i ran the water hose on it, so i replaced the sunroof seal, still had the leak. I removed the interior trim and traced the drain hoses, I found the driver side...

    I had the same seat issue, ended up having to replace the module under the driver seat.
