2005 Denali running board end cap

I just lucked up on one on ebay, I will have to paint once it arrives to match, but no different than purchasing from dealer. LKQ didn't even have one. Dealer wants almost 2 bills for one. Good luck!

02 Yukon XL Front Windshield Washer Advice

Never trust your eyes to determine if a fuse is good. Too many times I have looked at a fuse only to later, after pulling my hair out, figured out the fuse was in fact bad. Either throw another in there just to be sure, or put an ohm meter on it. This is a very good habit to get in to when you...

    Heater Core Hose Connectors

I think he is talking about the "quick connect" style ends. I delete these every chance I can. They are just prone to failure, being aftermarkets only increase the failure rate. Just buy some NPT nipples in the correct size, standard heater hose, and hose clamps. You will be glad you did.

    Battery not charging

First thing I would look at before looking to your expensive alternator, would be your battery cables. Check the connection at the battery, but what I have also seen is severe corrosion (especially on one that has sat a while) just past the end of the insulation where the battery terminals are...

    Subwoofer and Amp

Thanks for the write up. Just aquired a 2005 Denali XL, imagine my surprise to find this stupid speaker looking place in the cargo area isn't even cut out, much less have anything behind it. So the 2000 burb came with a sub in this area? I may have to find me one of these from the salvage yard.

    gauge cluster out

Question about the blue LED's. Is there a way to change the mileage/trans position (P NRD) to a color that better matches the blue LED's? Maybe it's just in the picture, but they very different. Afraid that would irritate me.

Haven't located an owner's manual just yet. That makes sense the mirrors heat up with the rear defroster. Thanks for that! @dcarver, yes I would like to keep the autoride, provided I can get a GOOD ride and handling out of it once I get everything fresh and working properly. But looking at...

    Gauge Face Recommendations

Thanks guys I appreciate the input on US Speedo. Yes I can't say I was ever satisfied with Nu Image when it came to fit. Will most likely go with US speedo just like some feedback on them.

Thanks guys for the feedback. I haven't even touched this rig yet, hoping to at least get the inside detailed over the weekend. We are expecting winter weather so no sense messing with the exterior yet. On the heated mirrors, is there a button, are they just always warm, or is it automatic? I...

    Gauge Face Recommendations

Would like input from others as to the brand of gauge faces you have used. I have used Nu Image in the past, but understand they are out of business. I ordered a custom face from Black Cat Customs, it's pretty nice and he put my logo on it for me. I want a stainless or platinum face. So far the...

Ok Ladies and Gentlemen. Finally picked up the new ride last night. Have a lot of questions. I'll start with a simple one: Where do I find the interior code? I have the Denali grey interior, but would like the code, JIC. On the Suspension, the compressor runs more than I think it probably...

Blackwood stearing wheel part number or sources?

I know this thread is a couple months old, but just found this on the blackwood steering wheel. The website isn't great, and I haven't found prices, but this may be a source for these. http://www.autowoods.com/2003_-_06.htm ---------- Post added at 07:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at...

    Question about "breaking in" battery

While I realize the OP situation has found it's solution, I wanted to add how incredibly hard it is on the ENTIRE electrical system to try and use the alternator to charge a dead battery. This will be detrimental to your alternator in the long run. Your battery is there to START the car, the...

    Escalade Rear Glass

Bah, thanks for the props. The pics didn't show up when I posted earlier, maybe I needed to refresh, not the best with technology but I muddle through it.

    Escalade Rear Glass

Will do. Haven't even taken delivery yet, hoping to go get her Thursday night. We went and looked at it last weekend, test drove, etc. It's an hour and a half away so trying to find a good day to run and get it. I don't make decisions in front of sellers, always leave and make my decision after...

    Escalade Rear Glass

Yes sir, that changes the entire look of her rear end! I can't wait to do this and the esky roof rack. Bought a set of NNBS Denali wheels today, think that little addition alone will completely change the look of this beast. No need for sorry's with me, I was not offended in the least, just...

    replica rims

Ok thank you for the info. Miracle was that price with tires? I found a set today for a little less than this but no tires included. However these look brand new, like they were taken off before the vehicle was even delivered. Debating on grabbing them.

    Escalade Rear Glass

Thank you for the picture, that is a perfect angle to show the difference. When I said I didn't know about the color of my rig, I meant I didn't know how it would look on my rig's color. I'm a painter (actually restore classics), very familiar with paint codes but thank you for the info, I...

    Street Scene Wiper Cowl

You bet Danzigman. I have seen someone fill the original piece, but have no idea how they did it or what they used, but it may be something you can figure out.

    Street Scene Wiper Cowl

While I can't speak for the one for the NBS, I attempted an install on one for an OBS truck. It's one of those pieces I would recommend running, not walking, away from. It will take massive amounts of work to make it fit properly. I have used a good bit of the street scene stuff, so not a hater...

    Escalade Rear Glass

Thanks to you both for your responses! Yes, yes now I see it. Ok, so next question, how big of a deal is it to convert to the esky third brake light? I somewhat like that look, but not sure on the color of my denali.

    Escalade Rear Glass

Tried doing a search but couldn't really find the answer I was looking for, hoping you guys can guide me here. I have read where some of you have replaced your rear glass with esky pieces. Can someone explain the differences? I have tried to look at pictures on line, and once you guys point...

Hey Guys, just purchased a NBS Yukon Denali XL. Own an OBS EC truck. Wish the denali was black but that is it's only downfall. Hoping I did ok on the purchase. One owner, 2005, 145k on the clock, loaded out with every option including NAV, but has 17" wheels. Paid less than 9k. Middle aged lady...

Paint Bubbling and Rust Spot Fix

These body styles are notorious for the rockers rusting out. Have replaced many in the body shop. First thing to do, run it by the dealer, there may be a chance you can have it repaired under warranty depending on year/mileage. Past that, like has been mentioned, best to have it cut out and...
