It looks like the reason you may be having so much trouble finding the part number is due to the fact that your truck is not part of the bulletin. At least not yet anyway. I am looking at the bulletin and the newest part numbers are 12479384 for the yoke and 12479126 for the u-joint you will...
I had mine do that after it was replaced. The little tabs that hold the float arm onto the lever had snapped. It all held together so it looked fine but the float had no influence on the gauge.
That is hard for people to realize. I to have a Modis with euro and its up to date and even my employer doesn't want to pay me to hook it up. Anymore if they won't pay a hour for diag with my tool, I just hook up there actron and tell them the code.
That quote is extremely high for the work...
04 Z71
99 Cirrus (its the DD that i just don't care about)
81 Diesel Rabbit with 48k miles
73 Karmann Ghia (I am about to part this out, the title is proving very hard to get, Long story)
Nothing fun really, still paying child support and it takes a big chunk out of the fun money.
Had to change the battery out tonight. Apparently it succumbed to the cold. Not sure how long its been dead, but it was long enough to freeze.

I have had this for some time now, I have actually outgrown it. Probably adding two lockers to it this summer for all the stuff I have in a metal cabinet next to it. Plus there is the smoke machine that I just can't find a home for.

The resistor set varies by manufacturer. They don't all look the same. Although there are two base designs for these trucks. You will know if the screws don't easily line up.
