    Your right. I guess it would be considered a gas actuator. Not a vacuum. From what i understand the actuator creates heat which causes gases inside to expand which pushes the rod out right?

    I am trying to think of a new sticker for my tahoe. I want this one to go across the windshield and say something like "FORD RECOVERY VEHICLE" or "OFF-ROAD RECOVERY VEHICLE". Give me some original ideas guys! Thanks!

Ive replaced my actuator for the 2nd time as well and when you just got stuck in a mud puddle because your truck wouldn't engage into 4wheel drive, and you have to get under there and change it, its really irritating.     That's what I thought. And that's what I said to my buddy who works at a partner dealership. He said when people pull that card the dealership just tells you that you dont have to take your vehicle there.

    It all depends on the look your going for I guess. But just FYI I made brackets that screw In to the side of my door jam and sealed them with rtv sealant

    Is my exhaust set up restrictive?

    Im thinking about putting either a h or x pipe where my muffler is now. My exhaust is pretty weird. It is 2 seperate pipes into one muffler and 2 pipes out of the same muffler that go to the rear. I have 2 catalytic converters too.
