    either the heating element or switch under seat has gone bad; if one element goes it affects the whole system...just went through this about 6 months ago...replaced all elements and switch under drivers seat was bad

    Cluster died today

    Common occurrence in these trucks...prob need to have it repaired with new stepper motors and such. There are a few vendors that do it. Check ebay or search the forum as there are other vendors that I'm not aware of. I used digital dash solutions (ebay store) recently and all is well.

    Should I buy this Tahoe?

    That's alot of miles and if it was a small area I'm sure those weren't highway miles. I know most city vehicles are not taken well care of in terms of cosmetics. Routine maintenance was probably done...so that's good. I'd say 10-12k would be fair.

    Sounds like you need to talk to someone who can actually make decisions, ie service manager, and get you what you need. I guarantee that if you talk to service manager you will get what you need...and if not move onto another dealership that understands customer service!

    How to: Rear brakes on a 00-06 Tahoe, Yukon, or Suburban

    FYI, ATE rotors are zinc coated and are slotted not drilled. Great engineering and no brake fade. Had them on for 8 months now. I had 14" slotted and drilled rotors from Baer and these I like better. and cheaper too!

    Be careful on some of those "leather" covers...they're vinyl. Better to go with Katzkin as you get what you par for with seat covers. Unless cheap vinyl that may tear, rip in 6 months is ok

    Sounds like you may have to replace purge solenoid valve or possibly a short in connector. Same thing happened to mine a few months back. I replaced purge valve and vapor canister and still got code. Turned out to be short in electrical connector. Good luck. There are several posts about this on...
