Part number for 2007 PPV TPMS sensors?

Well, by sheer dumb luck, those are the ones I bought on Amazon. I decided to replace them all when I do the tires =, Thanks. ---------- Post added at 07:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:15 AM ---------- Thank you.

Part number for 2007 PPV TPMS sensors?

I think I found some on Amazon. Does it make sense to replace these with a new set of tires, or do they last indefinitely? Thanks.

Part number for 2007 PPV TPMS sensors?

Does anyone happen to know the part number for the TPMS sensors for a 2007 Tahoe PPV? I'm getting ready to tire mine up, and intend to replace the sensors at the same time. Rock Auto shows several, and I'm a bit confused. Thanks.

    Aftermarket TPMS options

Can anyone offer some input on the better options out there? Looks like I have it narrowed down to the Whistler system, or the 2013 version of the Tyredog system, but I have not found much feedback on either. Any input/suggestions on these or other options would be appreciated. Also, do most...

Upper and Lower Control Arm Assemblies 2007 Tahoe PPV

Thanks to Chevrolet saving about one dollar per vehicle and deleting grease fittings on the ball joints, I am faced with replacing the top and bottom control arm assemblies on both sides of my 2007 Tahoe PPV. I'm hoping to find some replacement parts that come with grease fittings. Could someone...

    Tune necessary?

I would also want to get rid of active fuel management.

    mpg

Get an Airiad Jr. elbow and run a stock paper filter. The main thing I wanted to change was to get rid of the stinking active fuel management. The most cost effective way I know of to do so is to swap for a retuned PCM from Black Bear, with at least a slightly better performance tune included...

Looking at buying a Tahoe PPV

GM What's the deal with your engines?

My '07 PPV was run fairly hard as a Highway Patrol vehicle, of that I have no doubt. I know they ran E85 with a strong tune, and I suspect they tuned out the stinking, communist AFM. I bought it with just under 135K. Haven't had it for long, but I would estimate the oil consumption at about one...

    NNBS High Mileage

That would be the Communications & Logistics Center, aka C&L Garage. Did you deal with Sgt. Bulloch or Sgt. Pierce? I also have an '04 Crown Vic from C&L that was issued to Lt. Witherspoon. What year model did you buy? I'm down by the coast. A straight shot down U. S. 70.

    NNBS High Mileage

C&L Garage is the Highway Patrol office on Blue Ridge Road. It sounds like you may have bought one at State Surplus on sealed bid. NCSHP's SOP states that they send any vehicles which don't sell for the asking price to State Surplus to sell on sealed bid. Did you buy that '07 that went for 7 or...

    NNBS High Mileage

I hope you bought it directly from C&L Garage, and not at a mark-up from a dealer. An '07 with those miles should not have cost you over about $10K. I paid $10,600 for mine, with 134K. You will probably find that the last time the trans was serviced was at about 90K. I would bite the bullet...

    Exhaust

Since this is an exhaust thread, I will ask this question again: Has anyone who made the switch seen much of an improvement in performance or MPG? I have considered buying the Magnaflow system, but could not justify the cost without some improvement in both.

    NNBS High Mileage

Even though mine was a Highway Patrol vehicle, and ran a crazy aggressive tune on E85, it burns almost no oil. I doubt that I will have to add any between changes.

    Oil Change...How often for a 2013 Tahoe?

Newly-purchased 2007 PPV. Mobil One EP with a Mobil One filter. I plan to run it to 10,000 miles once, and do an oil test when I change it. They say M1 EP is guaranteed to 15,000 miles.

Fuel economy before and after a tune?

Tahoe PPV is a 4X2 by default, with a 5.3. I seldom run over 60 around here, since there are no Interstates.

Fuel economy before and after a tune?

I know there are a lot of variables, but I was hoping we could compare notes. 2007 Tahoe PPV with about 136K, before, running 93 octane, about 16-16.5 combined, which is about what the EPA estimate is. After the tune, I drove 215 miles, filled up and did the math. 17.83 MPG with the same type...

    NNBS High Mileage

I just bought an '07 from a State Police agency. Had 135K on it, and came with the complete maintenance history. Nothing except PMs and brakes. The only thing it needs at present is front pads, and I bought a new set of Delco rotors as well as Bendix ceramic pads.

How to save Black Bear tune files in Yahoo mail?

Yes, I did. Thanks for asking. Power seems slightly better, but my main objective was increased fuel economy with at least no loss in power, and no more active fuel management. AFM is gone for sure, and it does appear to be doing better on fuel economy. I will know in a week or so when I fill...

How to save Black Bear tune files in Yahoo mail?

I appreciate it. I finally got it to work. I opened the Explorer application and minimized it, then opened a new window with the mail message. I saved each of the files 'to computer', and then one by one, dragged each of the separate drop boxes to the minimized Explorer tab. Each time, the...

How to save Black Bear tune files in Yahoo mail?

I'm still having issues with the Auto Cal. When I right-clicked on a file and did a 'save as', and saved it to the Tune Files folder on disc, it came through as an HTML file, which I have heard is not the right format. Can anyone give some advice as to how to save these files to disc properly...
