    Yes. The back of the center console. If the controls light up, it is plugged in and your issue is likely somewhere else. Lots of things to check. Connections at head unit, the speakers, amp, etc. Sorry I couldn't narrow it down.

    Agreed. I have two in one of my cars and they are played loud two to three hours a day for a year (I have a long commute) and no problem at all. Maxxsonics is cool, I think company is about 30 employees in the Midwest. Not some huge corporation.

    BRZ line is CEA certified so it will put out rated power if wired correctly. Their none CEA amps (like most other brands too) are 70% for sure. D class amps are all "dirty" compared to an A/B amp. Hifonics is a "mid-level" brand with price/durability that is hard to match for non-competition...

    Sold and shipped by amazon is the best for the return policy. My Eonons have the optional zippered covers (same price without covers) so when not in use looks factory and less worried about theft. Too damn easy to break into our rigs.

    Sound dampening

    The dynamat website has good info for area measurements. I bought knukoncetpz brand, but not installed yet. Add it all up, it can easily be over 100 lbs. Do Escalades have more sound deadening from the factory?

    The signal goes through the rear audio controls. The rear door speakers and d pillar tweeters are terrible.

    2nd row Seat Belt (retractor)

    Seat belt failures are common. Definitely replace with new ones for safety. The bottom second row seat anchor is a bolt under a small trim piece. The top anchor is behind the rear panel and sill panels which are just held in by clips. Pull carefully. Sorry no pics.

    Anyone removed tape deck console in 02?

    2 screws when u open the cubby door and the top part is held down by 2 tabs. Be careful not to break the tabs. Deck has a lock on each side, just press down to release. Plain plastic pocket will be aftermarket and the OEM pocket will be felt lined. Search amazon.

    Does anyone know where to get mirror cap?

    I had the same problem. No one sells the mirror caps only. The dealer used to sell them pre-painted. The only OEM mirror caps available is the chrome set for the Silverado. About $60. I bought them and they fit perfect. Can be sanded and painted too. I would make the body shop pay for it.
