Hard to understand what you are asking. One issue looks like you need to trim the bottom valence (bottom black plastic piece in front of tire). Cut about two inches off then tie them back using zip straps.
As for front struts, I guess the kit does not come with optional replacement struts...
Curious if there is a correlation between the type of oil used and the occurrance of the oil consumption issue.
I am using dino and no oil consumption issue (knock on wood).
I was asking the OP. Good point about the trailer hitch. I forgot that needs to be addressed. Also are the side steps mounted on the frame? If so there would be a noticable gap depending on body lift size.
The poll should also add which type of oil is being used. I have an 07 with ~66k miles, using regular dyno oil and no oil consumption issues (knock on wood!).
07 and mine are ok (barely noticable). I use the Mequire (sp?) headlight restore stuff on my sport coupe and it works great.
I have heard that those automatic drive through car wash chemicals are hard on plastics. Do you use those often?
As far as DEET, IMO I would think not. That stuff...
Looks like this kit is not well sorted based on the NNBS truck forum. My original post regarding the concern of lower suspension parts and dynamics/range of motion seems warranted.
No issues here for either me or my wife. We take a few long trips (+10 hour drives) a year. Although I agree the NBS has more lazy boy type chairs - plush.
IMO some of that slipping feel is probably due to returning the tune back to stock. How much torque management did you reduce with the tune? Typically all the engine TM is removed with ~75% from the tranny.
