I’m getting to the point where i need to have the rotors cut and new pads put on. I think 2021 i’ll get the money together to finally do z06 brakes up front
Where'd you buy yours from? I gotta get some. I keep turning the music up too loud on my way home from work to feel the bass and its no bueno. When I was driving my truck it wasn't a big deal because I could feel it with the two 12s with the volume low. :/
You may forgo getting H3 mounts and get polyurethane mounts from someone like energy suspension. They’ll be even more solid than the solid rubber ones- but in they will be rougher
I went with the OEM H3 mounts on the engine that aren’t oil filled. It shakes a bit more, but my dash doesn’t rattle any longer. I don’t think my transmission mount has been replaced. Or if it has, it was with the transmission
That is super clean. My fiancee wants to spiff up her Mazda 3. She wants to get it detailed and then we’ll see about adding some LED headlight bulbs and adding a factory fog light kit. After that, tint the windows
Have any of you put subs in while leaving the stock head unit and door speakers? I know its the less preferred way to do it- but i kind of want to pull the subs out of my old truck and put them in the back. I know you need a LOC to do this- what one and where does it need to go to do this?
Checked lights and air, but you’re right. Main issue is that the whole trailer was a POS from when he bought it 5 years ago, and doesn’t even have suspension. Bearings failed because they get the shit beat out of them. No big deal, I’ll just buy my own proper trailer next year. This garage door...
Yeah. Once I have the disposable income, I’d like to get a PPV or really any 2wd to turn into a drift car. I’d run esky 22s in the front with sticky nittos and then either hybrid 18s or these ppv 17s in the rear with cheap burners.
Interesting
The ones on there I’m going to turn into smoke. I’ll get two cheap tires to use for doughnuts next spring maybe. When I have the spare money I’ll get two drag radials for the other pair
I’m running all terrains on the stock 20” that do really well in the snow so I don’t need a set...
My neighbor gave me the original set of winter wheels and tires that came with my 2007. My Grandad, the PO of mine gave them to him quite a few years ago. I’ll post pictures when I get back out in the garage. Its weird that the wheels are the same wheel the spare tire/PPV uses, but they have...
Question for you all that have the 4L60e- how hard is it to install the vette servo with the trans in the vehicle? My factory reman didn’t come with one, and I didn’t get it in time to do it with the trans out of the vehicle.
I know in my S10 it wasn’t bad at all to do but i just watched a video...
Ooohh i see. Yeah it does. I don’t think the new one will come with the new one is going to come with the vette servo. I will be doing that upgrade for sure. $22 and it makes a good bit of difference. I’m going to take the mechanic some doughnuts and $20 tip and see if he’ll pull the one out of...
honestly I think its a combination of two factors. 1 is that the rebuild it had at 130k was terrible. 2 is that when the engine was replaced, I don’t think they ever topped off the fluid, and I never checked it warm, so its been a 1.25 quarts low for 30,000 miles.
Naw what happened this morning was no lockup, thats why it threw the code. What happened when i did the edit was it quit going into gear and slipped a bit. I checked fluid level, it was low. Then i added a quart and a half and it started driving again, but it was still trying to slip i think...
Step dad and I borrowed a trailer and towed it with his f150 to the mechanic. Going to drop pan and change fluid, filter, and pan tomorrow. If it works it works, if not, $3K on a factory reman.
