Back with a new to me truck. Just got a 2010 Escalade with the 6.2 awd. 180k miles. Been about 8 years since ive owned a gm and little rusty in the troubleshooting.
Truck idles decent in park. A little miss, But when in gear at let's say a stop for a min or 2 it starts misfiring bad and the...
Just picked this up last week. It started life as a Yukon xl 4x4. I’ve tried to research this package and so far all I’ve been able to find is it cost 90k extra in add ons. Not many out there. I’m finding more stuff daily that was installed.
So from what I can tell this package entails...
Right now its going to be fixing stuff. this is my wifes truck as shes the one who needs a truck. go figure. Not to mention i cant afford to drive this thing daily at 75 miles round trip to and from work. So far the dash crack and exhaust is going to be priority.. the exhaust in this thing is so...
Hey guys its been a while. My old 99 escalde gave me a good run but last year i had to part ways with it. It had just ate its 3rd transmission and i was done throwing money at it.
So a couple weeks ago i picked up this 07 escalde ext with 110k on it. I bought it at a ford dealer of all places...
we have a large bridge here that i have to cross when towing the boats and have zero problems, it actually down shifts. but its nice and firm and has pulling power, if that makes sense
Well guys im still rocking out the ole escalade. i do have a couple issues i would like to sort out. The transmission was replaced in 2010. i dont know and that isnt relative. but that was the last time the fluid and filter was changed. Since ive had the truck (4years) ive put about 10k miles on...
i dipped my wheels on my esky white in jan of 2012. i peeled them yesterday and re dipped them black. i drive in sand and saltwater a ton and the dip still looked good and the wheels looked like they did when i dipped them. only reason i peeled them is i was ready for a different look. word of...
i figured it out. so for anyone who might look into this in the future this kit will work. but you have to buy the bracket kit for the rear of the torsion bars. that kit is just shy of 300$. by the time you add in new hardware, shocks and rear lift you might as well buy the full lift kit new.
So a used 6" superlift popped up the other day on craigslist. it came off a 97 pick up. will this kit work for a tahoe? are there any parts that i might need? any help would be appreciated. if anyone doesnt know 100% does anyone have a parts list for a superlift tahoe lift?
i replaced the cap and rotor. rotor looked ok but its cheap insrance. you guys also have to remember i live on the beach and its 80-100% humidity here all the time..
Since i replaced the motor in my truck 3 years ago i have had zero problems. Although its been 3yrs ive only put 5200 miles on the truck. While i had everything apart i got a new dizzy, upgraded fuel injection spider assembly, msd coil and a few other things here and there. So here it is 3 yrs...
angles as requested. this is from the passenger side, driver side is identical. sorry its so dirty i was offroad yesterday and havent cleaned it yet

you could do the lift for 200$ including an alignment and case of beer. 2" blocks are like 30$ and get the square u bolts. might have to buy them separate. crank the front up to match the rear. get an alignment. shocks will be fine with 2"
ok so when i go off road or anything more than a speed bump i get rubbing. my rubbing occurs in the top of the wheel well, on the front fenders no where else. it doesnt matter if im in a turn or not. i dont have bump stops. so my question is will bump stops help that? if so do they make...
you have a couple options; new springs, get your current springs re arched, add a leaf, or take your chances on a set of used springs from a junk yard.
theres an easy way to do this. first off i dont care for black rims. but if you wanted a visual you could plasti dip them. if YOU like it keep it, if not just peel it off. should take 4 cans @ 7$ish ea
welcome to the forum. a/c problems are difficult to trouble shoot online.. if you have solid cold air coming from the rear, first suggestion would be freon. but since you already did that next step i would do is http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29095 cleaning out your coils...
