Finally got to tow with the new bags and gears, much much better. It controlled the trailer well and accelerated with ease. Only got two passes for the night....
I noticed over some swooping type bumps that the front had a little less control then I liked. The good news is I have had new...
The rear ended up wanting to lift along the lower lip, the adhesion wasnt great for whatever reason. It either didnt stick to the car, didnt stick to the lexan, or I didnt use enough urethane. At any rate, I had to improvise to ensure it didnt cause damage later down the road.
I also...
There is no reason for a relearn unless something else is wrong. A relearn just sets a low and high voltage to cover the span of 0-100% throttle. If this has changed enough to cause an issue then the sensor is likely failing. A relearn will simply mask it for a while.
Sounds like it may have been a failing pump and when you continued to drive it, you took out the bearings. I think a pump initially would have fixed it, now I guess not.
Not sure, but the engine does make changes based on load, rather the PCM does. It sees the AC compressor as "load". It factors this load using the MAF as far as I know. I'd try cleaning it first.
Fans dont run on the hwy, there is a preset mph that they disable (35mph on cars, not sure on trucks). Your temps seem normal (not overheating), and yeah in traffic the coolant likely settles at the temp the fan turns on at. Mine also doesnt run cooler in cooler weather, it reaches a point and...
Yeah you should pull the vacuum but during a quick swap its been fine in my experience. If you can get the pump and have access to an air compressor then insert that step.
My stock springs were fine with the bags busted. It even towed well. So when I pulled them off I went to 4600s. I had already deleted the electronic feature on the stock shocks....I felt they were too harsh sometimes but not all the time, being as how they were computer controlled I disconnected...
You are confusing in your terms. Auto level is the bags, autoride is the electric shocks. My Denali had both, I deleted both. They make plug in resistors on ebay to fool the computer and you can either disconnect the shock or replace with a non-electric shock. Then you need to decide if youre...
