    Grounding for light bar

You have to run a wire from your battery for +12VDC so just run another wire for the ground from the negative terminal. Then you won't ever have an issue the ground. My 2nd choice would be on the engine block.

Took about 2 hours with a tire rotation and the help of a buddy. The top one on the inside is a pain, passenger side was worse with the rear A/C lines. Got a 2nd 21MM deep socket for 5 bucks and using the combination of extensions it made it not too shabby. No dummy light DICK messages...

    Autoride Mystery!

I wonder if the exhaust valve on the compressor chamber is sticking, got another bum compressor? I've had an arnott for over 1.5 years now going through it's second WI winter and it has been solid. From what I've read and what I've experienced the system is supposed to fire up the compressor...

Thanks for the heads up. I got the shocks today, Arnott has a sheet in the box with the shocks that warns exactly about this with pictures of the harness. I wanted to be proactive and get some penetrating oil on the bolts, but got about 7" of snow last weekend and lets say I found a reason to...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Black grills! (bad phone pic in garage) Rattle canned that chrome piece on the front of the hood.

I ended up ordering the 2700 passive rears from Rock Auto using the forum discount, thanks for the heads up on that. I'll post up some install pics, hopefully I can get this done next weekend. Went this route because I figured it's only a matter of short time before my fronts take a dump and I...

    Autoride Mystery!

I got one of these scan tools. All sorts of live data I don't know what to do with for all the various sensors, reads the Z55 suspension codes, shows the voltages for the ride height sensors on all 4 corners. All it does is read and reset codes to the best of my knowledge, no relearn...

    2nd row bench addition

What I discovered when I did the swap from a bench to buckets is the suburban or yukon XL second row had a different bolt pattern in the second row vs the tahoe and yukon and are not compatible. I have a standard yukon denali. I was also excited to get the buckets and after I swapped I...

Might keep the air and go with the passive Arnott, AS2700. I called Arnott tech suport and the guy said the rebuilt units get bench tested and if they pass testing they get cleaned, painted, and a new air bag. He said that they cannot rebuild any of the shock components because of the fancy...

Thank you. I guess I'm a little leery of the rebuilds, I thought I heard those just had rebuilt air bags. I should call Arnott and ask them what a rebuild entails. That sure would be a lot easier and more cost effective solution!

I replaced my factory compressor with an Arnott one in June of 16. Worked great until the shocks died!

Thank you, that's good to know. That sure is a way easier fix and like $70 per shock cheaper vs buying from Arnott. I see there are a ton of Arnott style replacements in that $150 range on Amazon, one review the person said they were Arnott branded shocks. Wonder how that affects the overall...

Sorry I fixed my post, I said actuator and the errors I have now are Right and Left rear solenoid circuit malfunction and not actuator. Updated my post. I wasn't sure what this was and found information on line that said the solenoid was in the shock and I called Arnott inquiring about their...

My rear Z55 autoride shocks took a dump, solenoid circuit error on each, so the compressor won't run and my back end is a flipping marshmallow now. I have 115k on my 09 YD. I'm planning on driving this rig for another 3 years and I don't want to worry or deal with the shocks on this thing ever...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

My dash started to buzz at certain RPM's with the air raid. Went back to stock as well, not a whole lot quieter, but dash buzz is gone. Doesn't sound quite as good at WOT, but I guess I can hear the exhaust better now.

    Autoride & Leveling Kit

I put the leveling blocks in the front of my 09 YD. I took measurements of the arm on the sensor before leveling and just made a bracket to relocate the bottom mount for the sensor. It was a piece of galvanized metal for mounting a garage door opener. I put it in the vice and hammered one...

    iCarsoft i900 Scan Tool

Does anyone else have one of these? I purchased one months ago on a whim from Amazon. It does read the suspension codes for the Z95 suspension, using it to troubleshoot an issue right now. It also shows you live data for tons of sensors. This is great, however is there a reference somewhere...

    Suspension error code C0590

I have an iCarsoft i900 scan tool and I'm getting a C0590 Right Rear Solenoid Circuit Malfunction DTC Status: Open error code. The service suspension message comes up on the DIC when I start the truck. I have an 09 Yukon Denali. Can anyone tell me if this solenoid is in the shock itself or if...

2007 Sub LTZ autoride 4wd shocks blown, no error lights, why and suggestions?

Not that this helps a ton but on my 09 when my compressor was dead I only got a service suspension light to come on right after I got my blackbear tune with a computer reset or whatever happens when the tune is flashed. It went away and never came back. I replaced my compressor with an arnott...

    Front Washer Fluid Motor Relay

So....this was operator error. I've only been driving a GMT 900 style truck since 2010 you would think I know how to do it. I for some reason was just twisting the wiper speed ring down instead of pushing the top forward. I know...fool. My work car is a Ford Escape and that is how the washer...

    Front Washer Fluid Motor Relay

Does anyone know if there is a relay for the front washer motor? I have an 09 Yukon Denali. Fuse is good, rear washer fluid works yet. Swapped fuses between the 2 motors and rear still works. I got a new motor, the lower motor on the fluid reservoir which in my troubleshooting is for the...

    De-Molding Issues?

Did you do it? I just heated and pulled. After I just use gas on a rag works way better than goo gone I think. Then I washed it. Found a rust spot the size of a nickel under the molding where there was no adhesive. On the drivers side there was a chip in the same place but much smaller...
