    From what i`ve heard drive by wire was first used on the 05 models but i have heard a few people say their late 04 trucks had it too so 04 and down but i`m not 100% sure.

    You can tell which pan you have by looking at it, If the pan is completely flat it`s the shallow one, If it steps down you have the deep pan.

    I assume you`re smelling burning oil? If so you could have a small valve cover gasket leak that`s dripping on the exhaust manifold.

    A normal amount of metal on a drain plug should be very fine almost like mud when you wipe it off. What you have there in my opinion is way too much and way too big for there to not be a problem in your engine. You can try the o ring but i`d say your problem runs a bit deeper than an o ring.

    I love the 20`s, Handling is improved from the shorter sidewall and i really didn`t feel a difference in the ride quality over the stock 16`s. The only bad thing is the bigger diameter and the extra weight. My stock 16`s tire and wheel was 76 pounds and the 20`s weighed in at 94 pounds each.

    I would go with digital dash solutions as well. He does great work, He rebuilt and customized my cluster a few years ago with zero issues.

    In 05 they changed the location from the frame under the driver seat to the gas tank. The filter is good for the life of the pump.

    I can`t really say how much better they are because i also upgraded to the 07+ calipers,rotors and braided stainless lines when i replaced the brakes. But the difference was very noticeable.

    If those are the same as R-1 that zinc coating lasts. I have two winters on mine and the rotor hats are completely rust free.

    I left the stock springs in, I always carry my three 100 pound dogs and about another few hundred pounds of stuff to our vacation home and with that much weight and the trailer it doesn`t squat enough for me to bother changing them or adding the bags. I would try the bags first before buying...
