Why is their stuff so expensive jeezus it’s just lifters lol. Maybe I’ll keep the mystery lifters and just buy gaskets. The lifters have actually been good since I switched to 5w30 with 1qt of Lucas.

I have ls7 lifters in everything I've done a cam swap on. Couple hundo

I think these probably are ls7s from 2017ish when the motor was “refreshed” by the PO. I borescoped the cylinders today and I can see hash marks on the cylinder walls which makes me feel good. I think I’ll order the gaskets and swap the 243s in soon. I have the 862s sold to the guy that sold me the 243s if I want to sell them.

Next point of thought, which gaskets to run.
ls9 gaskets 10.07:1cr
LQ4 gaskets 10.16
Cometic.041 and have 10.4:1

Currently has 10.39:1cr with the 862s and LQ4 gaskets.

Milled .010 so that puts it right at 10.4:1 with the cometics. Quench should be really good then too right @iamdub ?
