Exactly my point, a national epidemic. If this was a disease, the government would have people working around the clock to come up with a vaccine. GM needs to decide if they are going to cover this as a manufacturing defect or not, just let the people know.
If this was happening to vehicles 6, 7 or 8 years old, with 100,000 to 150,000 miles on them, it's one thing. But this is happening to 2 and 3 year old vehicles with 30,000 to 50,000 miles on them. There's no excuse for it. And it seems like GM should have had at least one employee that would have known a thin plastic dashboard was not going to flex properly without cracking.
GM needs to let people know what they are going to do.
