Hard to tell but it looks like it's AWD or 4x4. I would think it would have trouble hooking if RWD but I also think a better 60ft is possible. I know my 60ft should be quicker than that. I'm looking at test/tune track days at Milan, MI right now lol... Anyone wanna rent the track? It's "only" $2,500 for 40 cars and 60 spectators. Not too bad if there's enough people. I know I could get 10 pretty fast cars together.

Yeah, he had some kind of hesitation coming off the line. Maybe he soft pedaled it or had some lag or programming bug. That would be fun but I'm too far away and haven't done anything to mine other than have it tuned.

Just out of curiosity, why no front grill? It looks great, but I'd be scared of someone being able to walk up and unlatch my hood...
Been waiting until I finish my heat exchanger fan shroud and install the fans on the heat exchanger... It's really not possible for something/someone to unlatch the hood, it still needs to be pulled from inside the truck under the dash and even then there's a secondary latch center of the hood that needs to be pulled for it to actually open. Not gonna happen...

I can't remember the last time I posted an update... Too lazy to go back and look lol. I don't think I mentioned that I blew another transmission. These 6L80 transmissions sure don't like 850-900hp thrown at them. I lost my 4-5-6 clutch pack and those gears ultimately lmao. I still drove it around in 1st, 2nd and 3rd for two weeks while I waited for some new billet hard parts.

The 4-5-6 clutch pack in this transmission is one of the biggest weak links. There is really NO clutch surface area at all in that pack so they commonly go even in stock form. I probably wasn't running enough line pressure either but it still wouldn't have lived long at all. This transmission lasted 2k miles before it went out on me. So....

I yanked the Y-pipe, Driveshafts, Transfer case & Transmission... Got everything out in record time. I think I only had 3hrs total to R&R everything. Pretty bad when you get that good at something (3rd or 4th transmission build).

Here's a few pics... I rushed to get this done and back on the road for the Woodward Dream Cruise here in Michigan. Glad I did because I had a freaking blast. Got some good races in and plenty of cruising. Finally have working A/C now! A/C was a pain in the ass using the CTS-V compressor, had to notch the frame/motor mounts and make all new custom lines to retain the rear A/C for the kids. Ready for my interchiller now.

Ready, Set, GO!

Circle D Makes an AMAZING Converter... Absolutely love this thing!

Not sure if I've shown off my TCI Flexplate, but it is a top notch piece as well... Wasn't the cheapest but I know it wont break with the power I'm making.

So, this is my 4-5-6 clutch pack... Those are not all steels lmao, there is supposed to be friction material on half of these. Oh well, time for some bigger, better clutches.

So I rebuilt the transmission with some better clutches and went to a billet intermediate shaft for the 4-5-6 pack. Also decided to do the billet planetary gear set. This transmission "should" be bulletproof now as long as I don't screw it up with tuning.

Needed to keep things cool, so I added a Derale Transmission Cooler on top of my TruCool LPD and the one in the radiator.

Almost installed, one more line to run up...

New Heat Exchanger Shroud for my 6" Fans to keep IATs under control while I wait for my chiller...

Everything was finished just in time for the Cruise. I had a blast doing AWD burnouts & launches... I swear I got more compliments in this truck than I did in my 67 Camaro. People loved it and couldn't believe how hard it launches. I was told by a GM Engineer that works on the COPO Camaro program that it was the fastest 60' car he's seen on Woodward and possibly the street period. He saw me launch this thing off the line with 9psi of boost @ 1,900 RPM and thought the front tires were gonna come off the ground. I might need to put in some adjustable shocks and strap down the front end. Track day coming soon...

Here is a few videos from yesterday and I'll add a few from before the Transmission went on me as well... Enjoy! More to come, need a better Microphone with wind reduction for this camera.

A little but of blower whine at part throttle. I can't hear this at all from inside the truck since the exhaust is so loud...

Some Freeway pulls in the Tunnels on the way to the Zoo (Kids love it lol)

I honestly think I'm running on 7 cylinders here, I'm really not happy with these Taylor wires. The #4 wire keeps coming off the plug and none of them click on like they should. I just got my new Accel Ceramic boot wires yesterday. Looking forward to seeing the difference.
