Congratulations! I can't believe how calm you were throughout the whole process. I would've been cursing from sun up to sun down lol! Glad you got it going. I have a similar melling oil pump in my van, warmed up idling the oil pressure is like 60 psi. I agree with you on should've went down a step or just swapped out the spring.

Thank you. Im pretty stubbornly persistent. This time it paid off. I had to get this thing running, today was the last chance before frozen hell.

As the oil warmed up, the melling calmed down. Its now about 32 at 525 idle. Ill roll with it.

Looking back, the one part of the job that made me curse was simply separating the trans. That was tough.

Anyone have ideas on how to quickly sell my 5.3? Not sure what they go for.

I also have lightly used PRC 2.5 243 heads with PAC 1219 springs. And the stock intake manifold.

Lol it's literally 10 days straight of precipitation. Won't get any WOT tuning done for a while. After how it felt at part throttle, Im dying to see what WOT is now.

Your new torque converter might complicate snow starts.
