Finally went to harbor freight and bought the 2 ton engine hoist. Must say it's great for the price. Folds up nicely in the garage.

Finally got to work on tearing off the oil pan and covers. Going to finish cleaning up early next week, then need to pick two good weather days to install it.

I am on the fence about doing a stall while I am down there. I don't want anything that will hurt the MPG more than .5 as it's already bad. I was considering a ZL1 factory stall or maybe the circle D 278mm ones.

Watched this video, no way doing that lol. Wouldn't work for the purpose of the vehicle.

I will pick up a zl1 converter.

Anyone know the ARP flywheel bolts and torque converter bolt part number? I believe the converter bolts would be different for ZL1 stall.

ZL1 torque converter has been ordered along with new ARP bolts and torque converter seal.

Gotta love scope creep!

Got a PRW flexplate with 6 holes that should line up with the Zl1 verter.

Hoping to get this thing installed within the next week or so.
