Sorry for the delay work has been out of control because of the snow.
I gave up and had a mobile auto repair guy look at it. There was a loose connection at the hvac controls
Only charged me 85 dollars

Thanks for the advice while trying to fix the problem

Just a thought, why not take your 12volt DeWalt battery, set it in the floor next to the motor and hook it direct to see if it works, worth trying, good luck.
David g............:)
I see where you are going with this....but you ever seen what happens to a shorted lithium ion battery? What happens if the blower motor is shorted to ground? KABOOM....that dewalt battery.

You would have to leave it connected for awhile. It's not like a stick of dynamite with a 5 second fuse! LMAO!

Im patiently awaiting your demo video involving a lithium ion battery being intentionally shorted across the cells. Im in need of a good laugh. This one below took less than 10 seconds and there was plenty of fire to go along with it. Now lets see you put a lithium ion pack across an intentional short in the passenger side front floor board near where the blower motor is for an accurate mock up of the test and see if you manage to get all of the fire put out before your auto burns to the ground. LMAO

2 second mark he applies the connection for the direct short. 10 second mark...we have lift off and pretty fire too. So 8 seconds total shorted battery time. So are you feeling lucky Red Rocket, are you?

That's a direct short between terminals, it's different from a motor winding shorted to ground. Besides, I missed the part where he said to use a lithium-ion battery. I'd have no worries touching the small battery for a couple seconds to a motor. But hey, ever thought about directly shorting the terminals of your car battery? Go try that and come back and tell us what happens because, guess what? There will be a huge explosion! Just use common sense in life and you'll be fine. No luck needed.
