125,000 miles and broken drivers side mount
Gm this is just sad
My68 camaro still has the recall ( cable tie down) for a bad motor mount
Looks like they could fix this in 48 years or so

Update local dealer wanted 192.00 plus tax
Dealer 2 170.00plus tax
Local shop ( trusted) 125.00 plus tax
All with me suppling mount 125.00 gm
Catch can ordered

Changed it out in about 1.5 hours...

So thankful for good friends with MANY tools and a semi warm garage!!!

I'll try and get a video of the old one if anyone is interested!

Changed it out in about 1.5 hours...

So thankful for good friends with MANY tools and a semi warm garage!!!

Which mounts did you use. I also saw the ones on ebay with 5 year warranty and debating trying them over the 1 year OEM ones.

$131 for OEM mount. Service is still closed so trying to see if I am going to tackle this or let them deal with it. So I get the wife's hoe for the day!!

I went with the OEM one...

Some of the bolts were a pain!

Hopefully you have an extra set of hands...

Did you only do the driver side? I haven't looked at the passenger side yet to see how it's holding up.

Yeah... only did the drivers side...

Also cleaned the mass airflow sensor and the throttle body... but that's off topic!

I used a 1 by board and jacked on the bolts that hold the oil pan... wasn't a fan of jacking but I knew it had to be done...

I did have to manipulate the heat shield to get the bolts out... and carefully moved it to get the bolts back in...
