I have a 2011 Tahoe that I'm going to add ARH headers , TVS 1900 and Patrick G custom grind blower cam. Do you have to do the DOD delete or will everything be fine the way it is??

Thanks
Brad

Either get a cam for the AFM or you have to delete it.

I have seen a few leave the DOD lifters installed but it will be extremely noisy. You are always better off going to non DOD standard lifters for that point alone. No one wants a sewing machine sounding valvetrain.

SW CT,
Best bet is to do a full DOD delete, With the mods you referred to in the post your tuner will more than likely turn DOD off anyways.

the DOD lifters fail all the time on the stock cam shaft. They do not like high shift points, aggressive lobes, or anything over the stock lift.

I swap them out every time when there's a cam swap and DOD lifters.
