Tried to do mine today, apparently I need a really thin wrench to get to those bleeder valves with a drain hose on them, pia.
Use a bleeder specific wrench. They are cheap. Get them at any parts store.

What Seems to work for me is to crack open and final tightening with a deep well socket. No rounding of the screw. And pb blaster if looks rusty.

But...I ALWAYS liberally coat the threads with grease when done. I'm in rust areas. Once my hands have been on that screw it has never seized on me.

Grease/lube is my friend. Been burned too many times with rusty issues that kick me and slap me around. I've found no other solution.

OP here - 2.5 years later and have flushed again. 103k miles.

Also greased the 2 tie rod zerks again.

This service is really important. Don’t wait. Firms up the pedal a bit too.

Enjoy!

OP again. Just flushed at all four wheels today. It gets so dirty so fast….
130k (30k interval) and about 1.5 years since last service.

Just did my brake lines flush last weekend again, and the speed bleeders work great. My fluid is nowhere near as dark as your fluid when coming out. I do mine every two years which is about 36K miles for me.
