To clarify, my rig calculates the alcohol percentage correctly. I am just posting information in an effort to add data point. Let me know if it’s not helpful.

I remembered yours was pretty spot on. It is very helpful for me. Thank you for posting.

Definitely not trying to hijack my own thread, but given that the system doesn't even see the FPCM in 2007, I wonder if an Integrated Trailer Brake Controller option was even offered in the 2007's?

Never mind, I found it. The ITBC option was offered starting in 2009 in the 1/2 ton models.

Now I wonder if the 2008's are setup like mine (with no FPCM visible) or like the 2009 and onward, with FPCM there and controlling things.

My 2008 has the FPCM and no ITBC... Just FYI.

Oh I forgot yours was a 2008, probably should reflect a little before posting questions. I need a matrix to keep track of all the data points. :)

So only the 2007’s have the dumb FPCM. One more reason to not buy the first editions... :(

That's correct, all the others have it though the menus can be different year to year. When using the Tech-2 on my 2009, it never remembers what motor or trans or gvwr, etc. But it does remember all or some of that on the 2012 Sierra.

My Tech2 doesn't remember anything from my 2012, I gotta select/re-select everything when going through the menus

Mine remembers the VIN and calibrations. I got those after going into SPS and doing the request information function.

OK, here is another twist. I decided there was enough confusion when looking up part numbers for my FPCM, that I decided to drop my spare and get exact part number on my FPCM. Guess what, no FPCM on my truck that I can find. Whatever my truck is doing to manage fuel pressure, it seems very different than previous and later model years. I went and looked to see if maybe they carried the pressure regulator over from earlier model year, didn't see anything. Frankly, it is starting to piss me off. :)
