I secured a loan with a bank through the dealer and have my first payment due on the 9th.
Assuming your car isn’t in your possession by then, is that even legal?

If the vehicle is delivered this week with no damage then it's fine. If this drags on or there are issues on delivery then I won't sign and I'll have to deal with this mess.
Honestly the guy was a magician. Forms were flying around and I was trying to ask questions and deflect paint protection and other addons... I don't remember signing that particular form. They do this every day and I do this every 10 years, clearly they took advantage of me.Did you sign a contract that has the verbiage:
“I certify that I took possession of the vehicle on 3/25”?
I feel ya bud. Hang in.Honestly the guy was a magician. Forms were flying around and I was trying to ask questions and deflect paint protection and other addons... I don't remember signing that particular form. They do this every day and I do this every 10 years, clearly they took advantage of me.
I hate this crap, I just want a 3rd row so I can pick up all of my kids from school in proper car seats.
Thanks for the well wishes. Honestly I am fortunate enough to not be hurting for money, but I hate being taken advantage of, it tears me up. I am really big on integrity. Normally I would just take my business elsewhere but this whole supply chain situation has me bent over a barrel.I feel ya bud. Hang in.
This may be a point of leverage you have:
The finance manager basically concocted fraudulent forms, and coerced you into signing them…
Guessing the lenders this dealership uses wouldn’t be really happy about that, and maybe state regulators either…
May be worth bringing that up if you decide to try and negotiate back to the promised pricing and such…
Or, assume all is about to go well, you get your vehicle soon, and you chalk it up to experience. Still may be worth reaching out to the dealer Owner..l looked their website up, they seem proud of their history…
Good luck, hope you end up in that Tahoe and love it!

Like you said. If it shows up in perfect condition and I drive it off the lot this week then it's no big deal. So fingers crossed.
Or it might P this dealer off, and he will take it out on you in the service dept. Don't think they don't put notes on customer files, a customer who drug them thru the dirt... If you get it and its acceptable, chalk it up to experience, especially if you need this dealer for service...I’d personally reach out to Chevy/GM and file a formal complaint. This is ridiculous. You’re clearly a waiting and willing purchaser for their brand. You never know what happens. Maybe they take extra care of you if you ever have issues down the road with your vehicle when it comes to the warranty.
I was thinking this too... there are several dealers in my area that are closer. They aren't offering any free oil changes or anything, but I am not sure if I will need them for the eventual module installation to enable the heated wheel and parking sensors.Or it might P this dealer off, and he will take it out on you in the service dept.
