Help blower motor

I just picked up a 2005 Tahoe from my parents this weekend. The blower motor only worked on fan speed 5 prior but this morning it had stopped. I went ahead and replace the resistor as well as the harness going into and now it’s working speeds 1-4 but it’s shutting off for 5. I don’t necessarily need it but I would just like to know what the community would say
