Day 14...... Rearend pains!

-12 outside so I guess i better do something today......

Started out with this mess, but i Do have ALL my parts sitting in the shop. I have been an ordering, researching mofo...

Got everything broke down and figured out. I started by doing a mock up on the rear end to get my pinion angle to be able to have a SICK lift with NO binding issues.

So as you can see I will have some serious degree of pitch on the rear axle. 35" tires, and SOA lift. I am gonna set my pinion at 25 degree of pitch. You want your yoke to be about 1 degree over your transfer case yoke. Thats to accomidate for torque specs if she gets on er'. I will not over explain how i figured all this out...

Heavy duty perch pads so I wont have an "spring wrap" with everthing over axle instead of under.

For all my fellow fabricators out there......... Nothing but nickels!

Everything mounted up good. I got shock tabs to do and rear disc conversion and rear dana 44 will be done until I have gears and back lash set.......

Man that pinion angle is nasty!!!:licklips:

Well, we'd have to wait for the snow to melt. With the one wheel wonder, i can barely get it out the driveway.
Lol!
