That is, if your not banging FAT chicks in the back of the truck all the time, then your springs should be fine

The springs on my 77 are original and still holding up perfectly fine so I'd say they have potential to have a very long life span and should last a very long time unless doing consistent heavy towing or hauling ;)

thanks, since I have had it I haven't towed anything but it has a hitch so who knows what its towed over the years
