map update worth it?

If you use your GM navigation....... yes, it's worth it. There's so many roads being built now that navigation is outdated every 3rd or 4th month where I live. Especially in Northern Virginia and in/around Richmond, the state capital. We also have many streets where I live that aren't even on the 2013 maps. They will be on the 2014 update I guess.

You can't update a deceased dinosaur, but General Motors tries anyway.

I own a Garmin nüvi 3597LMTHD, and that thing is a top-notch unit.

Are Felixgun's DVD-R copies as well? If that is what you are looking for you can find them for free online if you are tech savvy...

Gm has apparently stopped updating the 05-06 Tahoe/Yukon disk. The latest the GM site has is GM - North America Map Update - v.2012 SKU# 22846887. What gets me is they still want $199 for an already outdated disk.
