I have an 05 Denali and the bottom line running from the radiator on the driver side is leaking. It looks like its coming from where the rubber hose meets the metal line but I don't know if I should try to crimp the clamp more or just cut the hose and try to find a new one. I was also determined to clean my throttle body and MAF over the weekend but after getting the intake off (couldn't get the MAF off from the air box side) I chickened out because I know those sensors are sensitive and just needed a little reassurance of what needs to be done in order to not kill my ride haha.

I would just pull and replace the lower hose it's pretty inexpensive and assures you from failing in the future if indeed your current hose is bad . As for the MAF I cleaned mine still attached, I had the same fears as you. Just make sure you use the proper MAF cleaner.

Yeah, I only remove the tube side of the MAF and remove the filter when cleaning mine, that way I don't have to worry about actually even getting close to damaging it from handling it!! Just use a rag on the opposite side that you spray it from to catch the fluid and keep it from getting all over the place!! Like mentioned, only get MAF spray, be sure to not touch a single wire, and let it air dry!!

Awesome! took the plunge and got it all cleaned out. Is maf cleaner the same stuff you would use on the tb? I ran some sea foam today too, and didn't get any smoke. I put it in my oil (when I changed it) and in the gas tank. But nothing. I figured after 98,*** miles it would at least give me a little smoke... oh well. Guess it's a good sign. went to get the tranny flushed too but was told it was bad for the gaskets to be under that much pressure, and that it would leave metal and oil in the pan and filter. sooo just gonna change some fluid and call it good
