So as my Tahoe gets older I know things are gonna happen. I just finally thought about being alittle more prepared just in case it catches fire. I don't want to see it burn to the ground in from of me....it would be the worst day of my life. So I finally got around to researching extinguishers. They were kind of pricey and I kept looking. Finally found something I think will be super easy to store and useful.

I found the Element E50. It's a do it all fire extinguisher with 50 sec of fire fighting capabilities. It was only $80 so I bought 2 haha. Super convenient to store on in my glove box and one in the back storage by the tire tools. Comes with little plastic brackets if you wanted to mount it somewhere too. And best of all the high temps out in the southwest won't affect it during storage.

Finally got the Tru-Cool Max 40K transmission cooler installed. I also installed new steel braided transmission lines to replace the rigid stock lines.

Pretty much plug and play. This bypasses the small coolWe in the radiator and just goes straight from the transmission to the cooler and back. It’s a massive upgrade to the stock external cooler.

The only real hard part is fitting my fat hand in the very small space to take the stock hose fittings out of the transmission and put the new AN fittings in. The new lines route easily and the bracket makes mounting the cooler easy.

Best part was it didn’t mess with my light bar so I didn’t have to move it!! :happy107:

You can get all the parts here: https://www.glennsautoperformance.com/collections/transmission-cooling

You can also try ebay for the cooler
