Had the day off so I worked on my engine a bit. Boy it is hot and humid out. Glad I got the garage A/C working. The rockers were sitting in oil overnight, so time to get them installed.

Installation went very smoothly. They look good:

Will order the torque converter this week and wait for my updated tune from Black Bear Performance. Still need to purchase a few more things like spark plugs, spark plug wires and oil. Then carve out some time to remove and replace the engine. Oh, and do the initial priming of the oil prior to installation. Long journey almost complete.

Nice work man!
Thanks @89Suburban it's been a journey. Still a few steps yet. Now the worry begins - will it start? No reason it shouldn't. But that is the reason I built it this way - if it doesn't I still have the current engine I can put back in as I troubleshoot possible issues. It's been an adventure, challenging and fun.

So, our new to the family beagle mix Toby just turned 1 today and our beautiful girl Molly turned 15 earlier this month. We celebrated both Birthdays today. I baked peanut butter based dog bone biscuits to celebrate their Birthdays.
