I might just be dumb but I never knew that 92-04 3rd brake lights are all on the same on the barn doors. Mine has not worked for 2 years now. Once I figured out that I ordered a new one finally went with a black one and it looks so much better plus it actually works now View attachment 265135View attachment 265138 View attachment 265136View attachment 265137
Curious how long that 3rd brake light lasts from the bass lol. I’m just now thinking about that lol. Maybe reinstall with sound deadener on the base:hmm:

Happy new year! I finally sold my ampere 150.4 and picked up 2 dc 90.4 to run all my kids and highs with. Now everything stereo wise is DC Audio. Also grabbed some random pics (excuse the dirty interior) 69E40731-EB53-46D1-A3DD-790A72E34C93.jpeg318E9B39-74AF-4971-A025-D4314DB8325C.jpeg E6AD7F03-C203-41DD-8BAD-28E1F4291B40.jpeg
Ordered this pto locking throttle so I can mount it somewhere inside and not have to hold my foot on the gas at shows while demoing or competing. Gotta keep the rpms around 2k to get full power from the alts!! D971A809-5467-4474-BB20-C9ABEB9475D4.jpeg

Around the holidays I had my sister and brother in law with me. Can’t remember where we were heading but she is 5’10” , was sitting in the back seat and I looked back to notice her head almost hitting the headliner. I like the nnbs captains but they sit a lot higher in nbs

Then the deal breaker for me was when I got my 90.4s and they wouldn’t fit under the seat without taking the plastics off the front of the seat. Found a near perfect set of nbs captains that match my light grey door inserts.

Holy shit what a unexpected pain in the ass it was putting those in. Next weekend I will have to once again redo the board for the amp rack because nbs captains are about a inch wider than nnbs. But it’s worth it because my seats are now same generation plus these sit lower and are more comfortable.

talked to a couple upholstery shops. 300-375 each is what I was getting quoted to have them reupholstered charcoal cloth to match my stock seats. Either that or I find some leather fronts that match. Cant decide I really do not like leather seats though so I’m almost willing to spend the extra money to have them matched in cloth. 05C957A2-F67B-471A-A7CE-ABDE688A039B.jpegA0676F29-AA93-4F3F-8065-4C222B7709A6.jpeg63F624B2-8060-419C-AA8D-FC3BC2BBCE4F.jpeg

If you get the 2nd row reupholstered, will you go with the 02 seat pattern?

Ordered a 10 dollar 50 pack of 3mm 9-12v leds off Amazon and gave it a go converting all my switches. Everything was quite easy for the most part. I didn’t want insanely annoying bright switches just wanted to fix the lights that were out and change everything to match in green. The only thing that sucks is something with my alarm/remote start is keeping my window switches from lighting up unless I remote start it. With the compustars you have to put the key in the ignition and foot on brake to “take control” after remote start. Once I put my foot on the brake pedal I hear a relay click and the door switch lighting turns off. Everything works perfect as it should I just can’t keep them lit up. So i gotta figure out how to make them work when I turn my lights on. Gotta be something with the relays wired in for the lock/unlock through the alarm I’m thinking. Anyways here they are!

before......well I knew I forgot to do something hahaha oops here is a really old picture where you can see the before of my climate controls I guess. My bad lol View attachment 239985

If I reupholster the back captains then yes most likely. But also thought about keeping them the 03+ pattern and hopefully find some 03+ front charcoal seats. For now they are gonna stay what they are though. Got quoted 375 per seat to have them reupholstered so weighing out my options.

Haha yeah it wasn’t to bad just tedious. Still haven’t gotten it figured out with my switches not wanting to light up because of the remote start/alarm.

One wheel has a ding in the lip but the rest are good. Got them stripped right away and messed with one wheel trying to strip it. Used a full can of aircraft paint stripper on it then said screw this lol. Called my buddy who owns a powder coating company and he told me to drop them off for a acid dip and possibly walnut blasting if needed. 0AD49F35-EDCC-4590-AC02-E54BA428A8E0.jpeg

so I got them stripped pretty quick of the cladding and foam. Then as life will happen I got busy and they sat till last month. Finally got the tires off and taken down to the powdercoater. He ended up acid dipping them but there was a little corrosion around the lip and in the center. Walnut blasting got them smoothed up though. Dropped the dinged up wheel off at a local tire shop that does repair and straightening. Waiting on that currently. Think I’m just gonna have them powdercoated a oem looking silver. Plan is to have these as winter wheels. And possibly sell the fuel setup to step up to a 22” wheel. 2DD48257-CD34-446D-910A-3A1464FCDA0F.jpeg3AB2E8D3-6B3D-45E5-B996-375963E36F69.jpeg
