Aside from waiting until I have the old one off lol. Show online that it ''Fits My Vehicle"

When I bought my HV/HP oil pump it came with 2 O-rings.... one orange and one green if I remember correctly. Or maybe 3... I vaguely remember a black one as well... but I have slept since then, so I can't be sure.

The pickup tube for the transmission is press fit, no nut/bolt. The bracket on the tube that secures it via a bell housing bolt is 37 ft lbs like the others.

He is looking for torque specs on the oil pump pick up tube. The bolt that secures it to the oil pump and the bolt that secures the bracket on the tube to the block.

Ohh sorry, I posted it recently... Hmm...

Ok, the bolt is 106 inch pounds (8.83 ft lbs) and for the nuts (tube to windage tray) it is 18 ft lbs. This is from the service manual for my truck.

Should be reddish-orange in colour. Just use some of the existing oil to lube it before sliding it on and then gently push it back into place. You'll know it's making a good seal as there's a bit of resistance. On my '14 truck the pickup line just dropped right off, the minute I undid the bolt holding the tube to the pan.

Thanks for all the help guys.

I did the job yesterday and it works fine now.

I did end up having to drop the steering rack and pinion to get the pan out, put that was just a matter of 4 bolts.

The o-ring that I pulled out was pretty flat. It had a minimal amount of resistance when I pulled the tube out. New one went in great. Torqued the 10mm bolt to 106 inch punch with blue loctite.

Torqued all the rest of the nuts and bolts, filler her up with oil and put on a new oil filter. Fired her up and I did not see any leaks at all, and pressure was holding steady after running for 30 mins at ~35psi.

Thanks again for all the help and insight.

That's great to hear, so can you say for certain that it was the O-ring?
Absolutely. The only other thing that I did at the same time was change the oil and oil filter. The old o-ring was kind of flat, so I am positive that was the issue.

Previously I had changed the oil pressure sensor, which did nothing.

Not to burst your bubble, because I hope your right, but an oil filter could definitely cause the same issue.

Lots of guys on here have had low oil pressure issues and changed the filter and thought it was fixed infill the filter started getting dirty again... including myself.

It is usually accompanied by some lifter ticking.

A new oil pump and O-ring fixed mine, although my pressure never went below 25 psi on the gauge.
